Michael has obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, a Master of Public Administration, and a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. He currently works as a police officer and has worked various assignments in his career, such as Detective (investigating Child Victim Crimes and Major Person Crimes), Drug Recognition Expert/DRE Instructor, Field Training Officer, Peer Support, and Crisis/Hostage Negotiator.
Michael has worked with Safe Call Now since 2016 and previously served as the Peer Advocate Coordinator prior to taking over as the Executive Director and President in 2023. Michael is excited and honored to carry on the mission of Safe Call Now.
When not working, Michael enjoys traveling (both nationally and internationally), learning about new cultures, and having new experiences.

Marc Gonzalez, earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Southern California, School of Pharmacy. Dr. Gonzalez provides training to military, law enforcement, and health care personnel. Dr. Gonzalez is a retired peace officer from the State of California, where he supervised investigations involving violations of state and federal laws and regulations relating to medical practitioners and allied health professionals. Dr. Gonzalez was also a California State Board of Pharmacy Inspector.
Dr. Gonzalez also provides expert testimony on all drug-related matters, including signs and symptoms of illicit drug use, overdose death investigations, appropriate prescribing, and drug-facilitated sexual assault. Dr. Gonzalez is a consultant for the Department of Defense, training and advising military and law enforcement, and participating in various projects requested from the DoD. Dr. Gonzalez was the lead instructor for the Department of Defense’s Counter Drug Training Academies at their resident military bases throughout the country. Dr. Gonzalez has also been involved in teaching the IACP Drug Recognition Expert coursework to the LAPD, trained law enforcement in Tactical Emergency Treatment, helped organizations manage DEA-related requirements, and has trained medical, military, and law enforcement personnel on the medical aspects of Biological and Chemical warfare agents. In 1998, Dr. Gonzalez was awarded the highest Award that can be given to a California Peace officer by then Attorney General Dan Lungren for work with the Professional Diversion Intelligence Network/Drug Enforcement Administration. Dr. Gonzalez volunteered for the Los Angeles Police Department for eight years and was named “Volunteer of the Year.”
In the University setting, Dr. Gonzalez served as a Clinical Instructor of Pharmacy at the University of Southern California's School of Pharmacy.

Andrew Dunbar has served on the Board of Directors for Safe Call Now since 2023, bringing a deep commitment to the mental health and well-being of first responders and their families. With a strong background in public safety and a passion for service, Andrew plays a key role in advancing the organization’s mission to provide confidential, life-saving support to those who serve our communities.
Andrew spent ten years in law enforcement before transitioning to the public safety technology sector, where he has worked for the past three years. In his current role, he assists agencies in implementing innovative hardware and software solutions to enhance community safety. His background in psychology and focus on relationship-building makes him a valuable advocate for first responders, both professionally and through his leadership at Safe Call Now.
Chris has been on the Board of Directors of Safe Call Now since 2024 bringing with him over 35 years in the Fire Service. After graduating High School in 1980, Chris moved from Connecticut to Los Angeles, CA realizing his dream of becoming a Los Angeles County Firefighter. In 1983, Chris culminated that dream by becoming a Firefighter/Paramedic. After many years, Chris moved back to Connecticut with his family and finished his career 'back home'.
In addition to serving with Safe Call Now, Chris has been serving as the Secretary of the Fire Fighter Cancer Foundation since 2012 and as a Peer Advocate with Serve and Protect since 2021.
Chris has provided awareness presentations on both firefighter cancer and PTS to many departments, at many fire service shows and to any brother or sister who will listen. Chris simply believes that if we do not take care of one another, who will?
In his spare time, Chris enjoys chasing after his three grandsons, his three English Cream Golden Retrievers and plenty of woodworking projects.
Angee Bunk has been volunteering with Safe Call Now since 2010 and is currently serving as the Peer Advocate Coordinator. She has worked in the 911 emergency communications field for 25 years, dispatching for police, fire, and medical. Angee is also the liaison for her agency's Peer Support Team and Critical Incident Response Team.
She is trained in compassion fatigue and individual and group crisis intervention. Angee has an Associate's degree in Administration of Justice and Bachelor's in Organizational Leadership. Angee is an avid sports fan and loves to travel! She has traveled to 32 countries. Her favorite countries include Scotland, Ireland, and Turks & Caicos.
